Finishing Information

Beehive NeedleArts offers a variety of needlepoint finishing from many different specialty finishers all around the country. We finish needlepoint into pillows, ornaments, wall hangings, stand-up figures, belts, purses, pillows, kepahs, Christmas stockings, doorstops, and much more. We also block needlepoint pieces to make them suitable for framing or finishing. 

To place a finishing order, please bring or send your needlepoint to the shop. Our staff will fill out a finishing order and ask you many detailed questions -size, color, style, etc.  After we fill out your order, we will ask you to review the directions and sign off on . Your piece will then be sent out to the appropriate finisher for finishing.

Needlepoint pieces are generally finished from 6–14 weeks, although this can greatly vary depending upon the complexity of the project, time of year, and the backlog of orders. Some complex projects (such as a purse or a rug) can take 4–6 months! We will do our best to accommodate your needs depending on the availability of our finishers.

Every needlepoint piece is finished by hand by an expert. The fee is determined on an individual basis depending upon the complexity of the project. We will try to provide an accurate estimate when you drop off your piece, but this is only an estimate. All needlepoint finishing is nonrefundable.
